What you put on your body is just as important as what you put in it.

Yes.
I am that 60-something year old woman who is a cross between Julia Child, Joan Jett and a garden Witch.

I share my life with an extremely understanding husband two black cats, Luna and MiMi along with a neighborhood stray we named Greyson. We have two grown daughters and three grandkids that are ridiculously spoiled by their Grammy. I spend most of my spare time battling rodents in the gardens, working on new herbal remedies and lifting weights. I grow as many herbs and vegetables as space will allow, drying, canning and fermenting most of the bounty. I believe in keeping as close to natural as possible.

I have always suffered from digestive issues. As an infant I was colicky, as a teenager I couldn’t drink milk, and as an adult I couldn’t eat gluten.  When I reached the point where all I could eat was white rice and chicken broth I knew I needed to do something. I educated myself and came to the conclusion that food was not the problem, but the cure.

Now I eat my own version of a clean diet, customized to work for my body, designed to keep me in the best health possible. Everyone’s diet is different; one man’s cure can be another man’s poison. For example, my husband’s diet is nothing like mine, but it works for him. The result of my clean eating has given me a renewed confidence and a new-found self-esteem, and the ability to take control of my own life. Being an Integrative Health Coach gives me the opportunity to help others walk the same path by taking control and reaching their best possible health goals.
